Grammy’s Glam: A review.

It comes to this time of year and we eagerly await the Grammys(and possibly every other award season)for a sneak peak at upcoming fashion and the new and emerging trends. Not only does it showcase amazing artists, but the attendees always bring their fashion A game. Actually, as I say this sometimes “A-game” for some is just borderline damn right mingin’. Each to their own and what not, but there’s always the worst dressed list.

Staying up ridiculously late awaiting E’s red carpet, caining Instagram and refreshing Twitter like there was actually no tomorrow, I was in for a long, loooong night. But when you don’t live in good ol’ America, what’s a girl to do? Being even more a social media addict is the only option.

With every awards show there seems to be the three pivotal categories for fashion…

1. The A gamers

2. The average

3. The no, no, NO’s

and then sometimes…

4. The down right wrong.

Below is a small roundup of my Grammy loves and hates. And all I can say now is, roll on the Grammys 2016.

First and foremost, the controversial- Miss Rihanna

Wearing: Giambattista Valli

Normally a style icon she never does no wrong. However, Loofah spring to mind?
Regardless of the ridiculous sizing the colour works with her skin tone creating a pretty, girly elegance.

Wrong. Just oh so wrong- Madonna

Wearing: Givenchy

Even sequins can’t save you, Pauley Perrette

Wearing: Undisclosed

And for the greats….

Aqua marine dream, Taylor Swift

Wearing: Ellie Saab

Oh, Kimmy

Wearing: Jean Paul Gaultier

Jane, Jane, Jane. Miss Fonda rockin’ a green sleeved jumpsuit.

A more mature woman with a ridic body and style. Not one of my fave’s but by far a better choice than others.

Wearing: Balmain

Until next year….
