Newcastle, the city of geordies, over-tanning, grand bridges. And as I realised recently an amazing night out. Back in my hey day I’d come to Newcastle quite often, as friends either lived or were at uni up there. Roll on 7 years after graduation(Jesus, am I that old, seriously?)and I was headin’ back up for a good ol’ hen doo. The only difference this time was that I wasn’t over spending in H&M with my uni loan which seemed good at the time. But yeah, years later and being in debt through buying some hideous, sequin hat years ago…not cool. Anyway, as we put the option of places for the hen doo out there they’re was a resounding why aye pet, and off we went.
It turns out that plannin’ a hen doo aint so easy. You’d think an OCD, lover of organising events would be allll over this(yet always still late), but with so many women it’s a liiiiittle bit more challenging than normal. This being said all the hens paid up, we boarded that coach and sipped our bottles dry until we finally reached good ol’ Newcastle. In summary this amazing weekend consisted of our arrival at Urban Village, using the spa, eating a three course meal, hittin up TupTup, Madame Koo’s and more. We seriously had an amaaaazing time and made sure Abi celebrated in true style.
You know what they say right? What goes on tour stays on tour….Yeah this applies to hen doo’s too.
P.s Newcastle you have broken me.
