Hey my lovely lot, whoever you actually are who read my blog, as I still tend to believe no-one does haha. Well, this post aint so much pin-pointed on Fashion, Lifestyle or even Beauty but is dialling on down to being a little personal to myself and to ramble on. With it being around 16 months since I started my little ol’ blog, I thought it’d be good to check on in.This post doesn’t aim to be some showy thing to say I’ve done this, I’ve done that but actually aims to talk to you about what I’m learning along my merry little way.

Having a new job and primarily lookin’ on peoples Instagrams all day everyday is making me realise just how much I want to up my images. In doing and saying this may sound oh so sad to some of you. However, a little drive and competitiveness is within us all and after all if we didnt’ have this then we wouldn’t be pushing ourselves. As I continue on this blogging journey I aim to take time aside every couple of months to focus on what I want to achieve. This could be anything from the photography issue I’ve said or simply to asses time management so I get that precious time with friends and family that we all crave.

In all honesty this blogs beginning was to provide me a creative outlet alongside my everyday working life, as I wasn’t able to ramble on, photograph or pose awkwardly 9-5. Along the way I’ve learnt that even though this and my writing has pushed me into the direction (and new job) that I love, but it’s also become an amazin’ hobby. And one that I intend to carry on till I’m old, grey and can’t shorten amazing to amazin’ just any longer. So, over these next however-many years I’m going to give myself little goals for progression because progression is good, right?

Goals for 2016:

1. Up That Photography game- I’ll never be that insta-famous gal, but it’s worth a shot for pretty photo’s.

2. Create more content frequently- Schedule more and sit down on a dedicated day….stayin’ up till 1am on weekdays aint so fun in the mornin’….

3. Get better at and a better understanding of SEO- Mind boggling but oh so worth it.

4. Continue to try my best and stop worrying about how far others have come/are going- everyone has that own path to success. So as cheesy as this sounds I better believe in it.

Here’s to 2016 and tryin’ to up my bloggin’ game!

x Em x
