This time of year brings about all the parties whether it be work, with friends or even your family. Yep, it’s that time when it becomes socially appropriate to eat to your hearts content and fashionably appropriate to go OTT in bashin’ out sequins and glitter on numerous items for your wardrobe. Basically people we can all just become glitterballs and it’s A-Okay.

Anyway, as I’ve always rambled on about blogging and it’s amazin’ benefits well another of them came around 2 weeks ago. Having been invited to a Christmas party event with Tessuti on behalf of Canada Goose I headed on over to Spinningfields, Manchester straight after work.

Although the party’s amazin’ location of The Oast House had been in Manchester for quite some time, I’d still never been, even after all the amazing things I’d heard about it. Well people this was my time and oh it was so, so good. Set in the centre of the new and trendy Manchester district, the venue boasted an impressive outside drinking section, an old style building and their new venture of a Christmas Tee Pee.

Erm, not only did they have a Tee-Pee but check these festive lights.

Walkin’ on in, settlin’ down in our party section and havin’ a chin-wag with the bloggers and lovely PR ladies from JD, the night was off to a great start. With free flowing prosecco…..that I couldn’t drink. Yeah, remind me next time to go home before an event so I can sip away too. But alcohol or not it was set to be a pretty good night.

See below for a little inside clippet of the amazing decoration within the Tee-Pee.

After a loooot of talkin’ and checkin’ out the ridiculously warm and thick Canada Goose Jackets, we all set down for a bit of grub. From dips, meats and breads all the way to burgers, kebabs and more the food was seriously delicious- Oast House I’ll definitely be comin’ back.

P.s sorry for the hand shot below. Let’s pretend it’s an action shot, yeah.

Chocolate covered strawberries with marshmallows toasted on sticks-Erm, HELLO.

Whilst the drinks flew by, the food was munched on down and we all chatted amongst ourselves, the lovely Tessuti ladies decided it’d be fun for us to have a pub quiz. With one of the Canada Goose jackets for that Lucky winner, let’s just say we we’re all out for the win. Shamefully to say that around 20 Canada questions later and it’s fair to say that I ain’t no quiz master. Congratulations to the lovely lady who did win, and I’m not jealous one bit…..pft.

Below is a sneaky little shot of my lovely friends Lauren from Fashion Panic capturing a photo of the equally great Gail from The Quinox fashion

As the night drew to a close we we’re all given a little gift box, an amazingly cute personalised bauble for the tree and sweets to be on our way.

 Who doesn’t love a pressie?

Headin’ home I’d had a pretty great night with some old faces and lots of new. Thanks to Tesutti and Canada Goose for a great night and for the loveliness of the PR ladies. Not only have I now gained an extra site to nosey on for my boyfriends Christmas pressie, but I’m munchin’ on the gifted Propercorn Smooth Peanut and Almond treats. One word for them beauties-fit.
