Gettin’ back into those ‘slim’ jeans with the help of Cryotherapy.

This post title is preeeeetty self explanatory, summing up just what I’m due to ramble on about in this post. However, what you don’t know is that I had some lovely(and amazin’) help I had to get back into those jeans. Like me, you may be picturin’ a friend pulling at the top of my jeans and squeezing the fat ass cheeks in, but no people, this lovely treatment to help me was actually called Cryotherapy

We’d all be lying if we said there ain’t a pair of jeans in our wardrobe that we keep as inspiration for the future, or from our old days when we didn’t need to breathe in, and just felt all round amazin’ in them. So, with these new jeans in mind (and the will to find a way to be thinner without exercise), I jumped right on board when the chance to try out a cryotherapy treatment at Nicky Clarke in Spinningfields, Manchester.

Upon entering the salon I’ll be brutally honest, I just didn’t know what to expect with this treatment, picturing various scenarios in my head which seriously resulted in me being a lil’ bit nervous. However, greeted by the lovely Jordanne and ushered upstairs to the treatment room, I really didn’t need to have been gettin’ a total stress on. With the treatment lasting around an hour, I was guided through the process and then lay on down with the treatment concentrating on my stomach( I’m not a fan of my flabster belly). Although I know i am by no means really fat, but like any other girl I have those chubby days, insecurities and bits of my body that I hate. So, trying this on my belly was a seriously exciting thought as hearing from friends who’d lost 4-5lbs in one session, I was bloody excited at a flatter stomach. With the treatment consisting of blowing veeeery cold liquid nitrogen onto the targeted area for around 15 mins each side, aiming to trigger a reaction that increases your metabolic rate and prompting our bodies to work harder to repair itself which resulted in essentially shedding pounds. Well, I absolutely loved it! With doubts in my mind upon entering I seriously came out a believer. Although this isn’t an ever-lasting fix to weight loss and is little expensive, it can also be a really helpful aid. From body image to sports injuries, this magic water does the trick. Not only has it seriously made me realise that this is an amazing treat(and surprisingly relaxing), but is pushing me back to fitness too.

With around 4inches off my waist, an amazin’ treatment under my belt, the ability to get my body back into my jeans and renewed love of fitness, I thank Cryotherapy and Jordanne for gettin’ me back on track!
