The power of the camo coat….
Every year an old style rolls back around (fyi, this means you should keep ALL clothing- or so I tell myself), and this year the camo coat came back with a friggin’ bang. Unfortunately for me I’ve never actually fashioned one of these beauties before, so it was only right that I bought one, yeah? What I didn’t expect to go through was around 15 jackets, 15 returns and 15 lots of money crediting back into my account. Over the course of 2 months I’ve ENDLESSLY tried to find the perf camo coat, and oh my GOD it’s hard. With the coats i’d tried either being too big, the wrong shape or a disgusting colour, you can imagine just how giddy I was when I found the right one. Guaranteed their was no camo print goin’ on, but oh it’s an actual beauty.
Shoppin’ around two weeks ago with Sue(the mother) I’d stepped into Primark hoping that they’d have something, but no. Then I had this brilliant idea…..every now and again I love to shop in the mens section of H&M and Primark because they have WELL better jumpers, T-shirts etc. So, off I went upstairs to the menswear section hoping i’d bag that camo coat but a lil’ over-sized, and what did I find? This lil’ treat in the photo’s below.
Although there was no camouflage print goin’ on, after slipping it on I’d realised it was the jacket I’d been lookin’ for, forever. And at £13 there was no way I was letting that beauty slip through my fingers.
See below for a few snapshots from the weekend where as usual I ate faaaaar too much. But, that’s what over-sized khaki camo coats are for, eh?
