How To Dress For A Baby Shower | Fashion
We’ve all been to one.
Some might find a baby shower a dreaded thing to actually go to, but where theres cake (and mounds of it), like why would you EVER hate a baby shower? Okay, knowing that I’d recently been trying hard to maintain my weight or get rid of some of my chubs (see post on this here), then I was a little wary of hittin’ up this baby shower just for that reason. Because where there’s cake, cheese and wine, there’s Emma Louise Ryan. However, what we all need to figure out for baby showers is, is that although there’s an over-whelming sense of happiness (I do mean this in a positive way BTW), food, drink and presents, well what the hell do you wear for it? Look no further people, I’ve got a little post for you here where I’ve managed to mix casual with somethin’ a lil’ bit fancy.
Let’s go back around a month ago, not long after we moved into the new house and spending was on lock down(or so I thought?), wandering around town “window shopping”, and I came across this amazin’ scalloped edge, red detail top. Without actually realising (alright, yeah I did), it was in my hands and was popping’ that pin number in at the checkout. Struttin’ out the shop a bit too giddy with my buy as I’d realised I’d found that perfect top that not only could I throw on for the baby shower to hide the food bulge, but loads of other occasions too. And by simply pairing it with some cropped denim jeans, loafers and a blazer, it was comfy yet makin’ me feel great.
Fancy shopping the look?
